Graphically represent any mathematical function, in linear, 2D or in 3D.
if you are a maths teacher, or a student of the subject, and wish to make things clearer when teaching or learning about algebra, calculus, etc, you should use a visual representation tool like this one, called Function Grapher 3.1. As the name indicates, Function Grapher 3.1 is an educational tool that lets you graphically represent any mathematical function in its corresponding coordinates, whether in linear, in 2D or in 3D.
Function Grapher 3.1 can graphically represent functions in a variety of forms: explicit, implicit, inequality, parametric, etc. It can show Cartesian and polar coordinate systems, use table data, scatter plots, curve smoothing, etc. It can also create 3D animations using Cartesian, cylindrical and spherical coordinate systems, curves and surfaces, textures, transparencies, materials, light, meshes, etc. It can also do colour mapping, contour plotting and vector plotting.
Function Grapher 3.1 can even create what are known as 4D graphs, showing slices, isosurfaces, animations, etc. You can set and modify everything concerned with the coordinates, animations and table properties. You can zoom in and out, and rotate the graph or plot area. Then you can save the result in PGP or BMP formats.
Function Grapher 3.1 is a fabulous way to show visually what function you are working on. And all this for free!
